When you donate to Julia’s House, each donation plays a meaningful role. It directly supports the day-to-day experiences of children with life-limiting conditions and the families around them. That’s why, at Kerr Office Group, we’ve committed to fundraising for this cause throughout the year.
That support might take the form of a creative play session that allows a child to express themselves, a calm and comforting bedtime routine at the hospice, or simply giving parents a short but much-needed opportunity to rest. Individually, these moments may seem small. But, together they create an environment of care, stability and compassion that families can rely on.
How donations translate into real support
One of the most powerful aspects of supporting Julia’s House is the clarity of impact. Each donation amount is linked to something tangible, helping you to better understand how your contribution is being used.
At the lower end, donations help fund the everyday essentials that make a child’s experience more comfortable, engaging and enjoyable. This includes creative activities, sensory play and simple routines that bring a sense of normality into what can often be a very different day-to-day life.
As contributions increase, they begin to unlock more specialist support. This can include time with trained professionals such as playworkers, counsellors and family support teams, all of whom play a vital role in helping both children and their families navigate complex emotional and practical challenges.
At the highest levels, donations enable critical care services, including respite support and end-of-life care. These are the moments where families are given the time, space and support they need to pause, recover and spend meaningful time together, often during incredibly difficult circumstances.

A final note
For families supported by Julia’s House, the value of this care is often found in the everyday moments, time to rest, space to breathe, and the reassurance that they are not facing things alone.
Being able to see how each donation contributes to that support simply helps to make that impact more visible.

Our firm is known for being friendly and down to earth as well as professional, yet our offices didn’t reflect that culture. Thanks to Kerr, we have now been able to bring it to life in a much more usable space, and we’ve really valued their guidance and efficiency throughout the process
