Roxburgh Milkins Bristol
The opportunity
Roxburgh Milkins, a specialist law firm working with corporate, commercial and employment clients, wanted to transform its central Bristol office into a brighter, more open and welcoming workplace.
The existing office did not fully reflect the firm’s friendly, down-to-earth culture or provide the level of comfort and functionality its team needed. The brief was to improve natural light, movement and usability while creating a professional environment that would provide a positive experience for both employees and clients.
The approach
Kerr Office Group delivered a complete office fit-out, opening up the floorplan to improve flow and make the space feel larger and more inviting. The design introduced a combination of formal meeting rooms and smaller pods to support private calls, focused work and client catch-ups.
A central tea point was designed as both a practical facility and a standout social hub, while carefully selected colours, finishes and details incorporated the Roxburgh Milkins brand throughout the workspace. The project also included an updated HVAC layout, new carpet and furniture to support the new open-plan design and create a comfortable, contemporary environment.
Kerr’s projects team managed the various contractors throughout the five-week programme, ensuring the work stayed on track and ultimately handing the completed space over to the client two days ahead of schedule.
The impact
The transformation has created a bright, functional and future-ready workplace that better represents Roxburgh Milkins’ identity and culture.
The improved layout gives employees a more comfortable environment with dedicated spaces for collaboration, focused work and informal interaction, while the refreshed client-facing areas provide a more welcoming and professional experience for visitors. The result is a workspace that the team can feel proud of and that better reflects the firm’s friendly yet professional approach.
