What you’ll be doing

You’ll be leading the in-house design team, with an aim to create truly inspirational spaces that match the vision, goals and objectives of our clients. Working closely with the Head of Sales you’ll be visiting potential clients to conduct a workplace analysis, establishing their needs and objectives. You’ll be responsible for the planning and design elements of projects, working closely with the design team to prepare insight led workspace plans, mood boards, furniture and interior specifications, delivered to the client on time and within budget. You’ll love juggling multiple design projects and will be in your element managing various schedules and workloads. As one of the key point of contact for our clients you’ll deliver a seamless service within their expectations and with the minimum of disruption.

Who you’ll be

You’ll live and breathe all things creative. Using your previous experience in a commercial interiors design department you’ll have an impressive knowledge of workplace insights, commercial furniture and finishes. A confident communicator, you’ll be a natural at presenting pitches and design concepts at board level, always mindful of obtaining a positive and productive outcome from each meeting. You will be proficient in AutoCAD and Sketchup and ideally have some knowledge of SolidWorks design packages. Finally, you will be qualified to Degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject, or have solid interior design/ architecture experience in a similar environment.

Qualification & Language Requirements

  • Fluent in English
  • Previous experience of running a Commercial Interiors Design Department
  • Experience of successfully pitching design bids on projects up to £1.5M+
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in an interior design/ architecture environment
  • Excellent knowledge of workplace insights, commercial furniture and finishes
  • AutoCAD and Sketchup proficiency
  • Experience of SolidWorks design package

 

Package Details

Salary: £45000 – £55000 Per YEAR
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm with 30 min lunch break, Hours may vary depending on Client requirements., Flexible depending on workload
